Dr. Stephens is the BEST! He uses a camera to find your problem area, to get Steroid injections, or other options. He did a SI on my lower back to address the Sciatica pain. I would definitely recommend him!!

The visit is always A+. There was one new change that is not good at all. On the check in on the iPad has a question to verify phone and email address with a code. I will not be able to complete the check in as we will not have a phone to receive this. This should be removed.

I’ve been to several Pain specialists in the area. Dr. Stephens really treats you like a patient, rather on an assembly line. One office spaced their appointments 7 minutes apart. Another office I had an appointment that lasted 4 minutes. He takes time that’s needed.

I have suffered all my life with back pain. I’ve been to several doctors for various medications and treatments to relieve pain. Dr. James W. Stephens addressed my back issues from the get go, using sequential treatments over a period of time. With the help of his amazing staff, dealing with my insurance issues, I received excellent medical care from Dr. Stephens. My final treatment was a spinal cord stimulator that was implanted surgically by Dr. Stephens. I have since have had wonderful relief (about 70-80%) and no longer need to be under his medical care, but can certainly reach out if I need to. For the first time in my life, I’ve now have wonderful relief because of Dr. Stephens. I certainly would highly recommend his practice! I’m very grateful to Dr. Stephens, for his medical knowledge and kindness!

Staff and Dr are very nice, but you need to ask questions about procedures because they do fail to give good explanation for procedures. Once you know how everything works they are pretty good.

This interventional pain clinic is just that, interventional pain relief where The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and care about your over health, not just see you as another patient to treat. Dr Stephens is amazing at finding the right treatment for you to eliminate your pain, becoming more active, and all around being able to enjoy life again, pain free! I highly recommend scheduling a consult and learn about the many options available other than just traditional pain relief.

I am fresh back in the Chickasha area from Florida. I’m setting up my insurance and Dr. Stephens is a must for my pain doctor. In 2018, Dr Stephens connected me with my neurosurgeon, who fused my cervical spine and improved my quality of life. My last appointment before leaving Oklahoma in 2021 was with Dr Stephens, and he will be one of my first appointments now that I’m back in town. Dr Stephens is no longer in Chickasha, but I will gladly travel to Norman in order to see him. I recommend him to anybody needing relief from pain.

You know, I am sitting here having a cup of coffee looking at a picture of my father who recently passed away and this is something I’ve spoken to doc about. Btw ( doc = Dr. Stephens) for any dense ones out there... my father who I took care of for 20+ years was a chronic pain patient as well and when he chose a new pain doctor one of the things he would do is read the reviews. Doc and Gina know their business, just any professional should know theirs. They are not naive so, if you have a legitimate issue or an undiagnosed problem. This is THE place to go to! They are not only compassionate and affable, will talk with you like a person. Get to know you and your history. They don’t have the bedside manner of an angry rhinoceros like some doctors do. I’ve been a pain patient since 1997 and have seen a * doctors over the years we’ll say. Not giving any names. I hope doc and his staff will be around as long as I am so I don’t have to see another.
